Q: While I was driving through Pennsylvania, I noticed there were several wineries.

How many are in the state?

A: According to the Pennsylvania Wine Association, there are more than 90 wineries in the Keystone State.

Nationally, Pennsylvania ranks fourth in the amount of grapes grown (both wine and juice grapes) and eighth in the production of wine.

No doubt there are wineries in nearly every state, but among several other top growers and producers in the country are California, New York and Oregon.
