NSW: Guard will be interviewed by police later today
Police will this afternoon interview a Sydney security guard wanted for questioning
over the shooting death of a robber last week.
KAREN BROWN shot 25-year-old WILLIAM AQUILINA after he assaulted her and robbed her
of a bag of money outside the Moorebank Hotel last Monday.
Police were expected to charge Ms BROWN with murder in absentia after she refused to
present herself to investigators because she was medically unfit.
That's despite giving two media interviews, including one with Channel Seven's Today
Tonight program due to air tonight, and for which she was paid about $100,000.
Superintendent TERRY JACOBSEN says Ms BROWN won't be charged in absentia at this stage,
and police expect to speak with her today.
He's refused to confirm that Ms BROWN will be charged with murder saying only that
there'll be more developments later today.
