"True West" (5 p.m., Showtime): Bruce Willis doesn't get enoughcredit for his acting chops, probably because he does so manymediocre action movies in which he doesn't show them off. But as adrifter and petty thief in this *** adaptation of Sam Shepard's play,staged at the Liberty Theater out near his Idaho ranch, Willis letsloose full throttle. He doesn't get a lot of help, this being aboutas far off Broadway as possible, but Chad Smith turns in asurprisingly solid performance as his brother.
