NSW: Police seeking four men over Narellan shooting

Police say a Sydney security guard was struck on the head when he tried to stop a group
of men who had shot him twice.

The 35-year-old security guard underwent emergency surgery and is in a stable condition
in Liverpool Hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds to his abdomen and upper right thigh
last night.

Camden detectives are seeking public help to identify the four men involved in the
attack at Narellan, in Sydney's south west.

Detective Sergeant STEVE THOMAS says the guard was in a carpark at the Narellan Business
Centre shortly before 11pm (AEDT) when the four men approached him and spoke to him briefly.

He says the unarmed guard was then shot twice.

When he attempted to stop the four men, he was hit on the head with a heavy object.
